Sauna recommendations
Sauna recommendations
- Sauna is recommended exclusively for healthy people. Each visitor undertakes this procedure at their own risk. People who have not visited a sauna before are advised to consult a doctor.
- Before entering the sauna, we start with hygienic cleaning of intimate parts of the body (soap and water).
- Always dry the whole body thoroughly before entering the sauna and after cooling down.
- We come to the sauna with a half-empty stomach, without make-up, without jewelry or watches (metal gets hot due to high heat). We do not drink during the sauna; we will add fluids later.
- We repeat the whole process max. three times.
Sauna phases
Phase I – sweating
- Always cover the lounger with a towel on the same side when taking a sauna.
- We take a sauna lying down with the head and lower limbs raised or in a semi-sitting position.
- Before ending the sauna session, we sit down (circulatory adaptation).
- The length of the sauna session is individual, approx. 5-15 minutes (to achieve a feeling of desire to cool down).
Phase II – cooling
- After sweating, it represents a significant shock to cardiovascular load. Therefore we choose it sparingly and individually; we cool down differently according to thermal tolerance and state of health (lukewarm shower from the lower limbs, toppings, immersion in a cold sauna pool, etc.).
Phase III – relaxation
- Resting with total relaxation after sweating and cooling down should take about 10-30 minutes. We rest lying down, sitting, with fluids replenished (mineral water, fruit juices, etc.).
- Procedures such as massage and swimming are only suitable after resting at the end of the sauna session.
